My English, Literature, and Communications classes take the format of workshops in which students can strengthen their understandings and build competencies in reading, writing, and representing in a variety of media. In addition to short, content-driven lessons, these workshops foster project-based and student-led learning. We also integrate emerging technologies into our process, using applications like OneNote and Google Drive to share writing and feedback.
To engage in your child’s learning, discuss their projects with them. Ask your child to share their Google Drive with you, so that you can see both their work and my comments and feedback. You are also welcome to e-mail me directly with any questions you may have, or to visit our classroom and experience the learning first hand.
